Hard Disk Fault

I can't watch channels because there is a message coming up saying that there is a problem with Hard Disk Drive

Went on holiday, so turned everything off.  When turned back on we lost everything from the recording folders. A message comes up on screen saying there is a fault with the Hard Drive
