HBO max on skq

I'm at my wits end it took a couple of days pulling my hair out trying to set up my subscription to hbo to my sky account eventually it stated ACTIVE on my bill page where everything I have is listed so should have been ready to go but NO! if I press the hbo app via my sky box it takes me to a page which states ...... " welcome back sarah  to start streaming on HBO Max, get access through sky via sky.com/mysky/tv " and that's it so what's the point it's active and working on my iPad if I want to watch it that way but I want to watch it on Tv my eyesight is bad enough let alone trying to watch it on a 10 inch screen, when it's nothing to do with my iPad why isn't it showing up and working on my tv? I've done what others have suggested trying over and over to see if it kicks in, resetting via the remote by pressing home button the 1080 the home button to reset and even turning it off for a couple of minutes at the mains and still nothing it's now been 3 days and I'm getting so cheesed off. I did manage to stream the sound to my tv via my iPad but that's no good without the picture so what the heck is going on I'm not the only one this is happening too so sky needs to sort it asap and actually give people a reason and a explaination oh and this has been such a farce it should be in my humble opinion if somethings being added to the packages then it's a one button press or better still automatically ready to watch! I doubt sky will reply and give a working answer so if someone knows how to bypass this mess to get it working please tell me and make sure it's a idiots guide step by step instructions so I can't go wrong. I have exactly the same problem. SKY why promise something that isn't there.
