HBO Max or Disney+ activation screen even though already subscribed/set up

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

I want to find out if anyone else is getting the following type of screen on Sky Q for HBO Max and/or Disney+?

Activate nowActivate now  Maybe laterMaybe later

I have activated both HBO Max and Disney+, we use them regularly, so I have to click on "Maybe later" to load the app almost daily and it is very frustrating!

This issue has been discussed in the Sky Stream section of the community and it is reportedly fixed on that device/SkyOS, but it isn't for me, so I am canvassing to see if anyone else is having the same problem on Sky Q?

If you are, please add to this thread so I can escalate.

My box is on software version Q370 but this started happening on Q360.

Note: Yes I know Sky Q for apps isn't the ultimate experience and yes I can watch on another device, but if it is a wider issue than just me, I do want to help get this fixed! 🤣

Feels like I am talking to myself, but if anyone else is seeing this, it has been escalated and will be looked at by Sky, although judging by the lack of responses I may be the only person seeing this on Q! 🤣

@stereohaven

I just got a  similar screen testing HBO Max but unlike you I selected continue - which took me to the subscription page - I meant to select the base sub but actually accidentally pressed back, when I then went forward it took me straght in  in - which I suspect it would have done

I don't know if this made any difference but I had not used the app since dropping my premium HBO max sub to revert to the Basic with ads

Selecting disney took me straight in (I still have the premium sub to Disney+)

What happens if you select continue ?

I get taken to the subscription page as well, where it shows I am already subscribed and can upgrade/downgrade if required.
