HBO Max activation not working

Tried from Home Screen HBO Activation and just hangs on a blue screen for an age and then goes back to Home Screen (Sky Q) tried from app and just hangs and goes back to app screen.  Never had HBO before or used before - anyone know how to fix so can connect?

I just keep getting a message that says, "sorry we can't do that right now" been the same since it went live, haven't been able to watch anything on HBO Max. Yet im expected to pay for it

Hi @Wesjo   Which part of HBO Max are you paying for. Are you not wanting to use the free version.

Can someone let me know how I'm meant to activate HBO max on Sky Q?  I follow the instructions on the screen, select the one with ads and nothing happens.
