HBO Max Sign in issues

My Sky account shows HBO Max Basic is active and HBO Max appears on my Sky Q box, but HBO Max does not recognise my email address and says I don't have an account. Can you re-send or reset the HBO Max activation entitlement on my account?

This is a customer to customer forum in the main so "we" can't do anything with your account. Usually stuff like this means a mismatch on the registered email address activated via sky and the one you are trying to login with.

 

First step is to double check that you are using the correct email to sign in. If you are, then I would work through the help flow here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hbo-max-homepage 

 

You follow the flow with a view to getting through to chat or someone at Sky. They can do some backend stuff with HBO to align sign in credentials I believe if there is a mismatch, but how long that takes I have no idea.

So it seems like I've somehow, in the past, managed to create an HBO Max account using a different email address to My Sky account email address and it has linked to my Sky subscription so I am sorted 🙌🙌
