hi @Lam99

If your current box does not support UHD, then currently you will need to contact SKY.

You probably know, but you will loose any recordings on your box, although you can download any purchased content after changing and some content may still be available on Catch up/ On demand

Note they do usually charge for the upgrade.

If you do go ahead, it is usually done via a doorstop swap, so make sure you take out your vewing card before handing over the old box.

Also note that some 2TB HDR boxes have a spearate power supply that is may not be obvious in the box so make sure you check to see if it has one.

To contact SKY :

I believe these are the current methods for contacting Sky. Depending on your reason for making contact some methods are more appropriate than others …

call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.

online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
At the end of the help it MAY provide a phone number if it's appropriate.

Sky Assistant is now available at the top of sky.com/help (or as a chat bubble bottom right if used before) for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It will provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

P.S. As the original 2TB was UHD capable but not HDR make sure you specify that you want and HDR capable box.

I think it is unlikely they would try to send you one of these old boxes but best to make sure that it is specified so that should you be sent a wrong box you can refer back
