Hi @WAYNEYC33
Work through the following link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-q-box-wont-turn-on
If you have to order a new Q box this usually means a doorstep swap.
Don’t forget to keep your viewing card from the failed box if you order a replacement.
Also if the box you are replacing is a 2TB there are two versions of power supply. One has a standard C7 (figure of eight) power lead socket in the back of the Q box. The other has a separate power supply. Although this still has the C7 power lead into the power supply there is a multi pin Din power socket in the Q box for connecting the power supply. Make sure that the replacement box has the power supply included if the Q box has the orange coded multi pin din socket in the back of the Q box.

This thread suggests that's a message generated by a Sony television, and may relate to lack of resolution support.
'Player' appears to be default labelling on rather elderly Sony menus for any external HDMI device.
@WAYNEYC33 What model is the television set?

On your Sky remote, press Home, 1080, Home so you can access the Sky Q menus and choose a resolution that works.

OK: that's a 15 year old model which has a maximum resolution of 1080p ('Full HD') so it's not going to display anything if the Q box is outputting UHD.

Strange as it has worked up until 3/4 weeks ago!

The most likely explanation is the Q box was previously set to output a resolution which the rather elderly television can handle, but has had a software update or a reset which changed this.
Try the key presses which @lettice described above.
