Every itv channel is pixelating

Since yesterday every itv channel

keeps pixelating & they've become unwatchable. Every other channel is working fine so what is the issue here. Sky, can you get this looked into please?

Check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s very likely either;
▫️a dish misalignment,
▫️a failing LNB (on the arm of the dish),
▫️water getting into the cabling,
▫️it is currently raining very heavily
so check the troubleshooting on this link

It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.

If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise directly with your building management company or landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact direct.

Additionally:

🔹 a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels (amongst the first to be affected may be TNT or GB News),

🔹 a Sky Q box requires a periodic 'Keep alive' signal that is delivered via the satellite so if that isn’t received the box will close down until the satellite signal is restored.

Thanks. I've checked the connections & all are finger tight & it's been a gorgeous sunny day here so no weather issues. 
Do sky pick up on these concerns raised & investigate as I can see there has been previous issues brought up about the itv channels pixelating.

This is the first time using this community discussion so not sure whether sky read them or whether I will have to contact them about this.

Usually you get tips from members on troubleshooting first (as you have from @Daniel0210 ), then if that doesn't help, your post can/will be escalated to a Sky team member.

In your case, once troubleshooting is complete, it may need an engineer as it could well be dish misalignment (as already suggested).

ITV is not actually a Sky channel at present though recent deal might change things. It is a free to air channels that included in the sky line up like BBC, channel 4 & 5 which are all free to air channels and they all look after there uplinking to the satellites and sky dose not have any connection with the engineers of these channels and faults that may occur. If there is fault with there system you would need to contact the broadcast directly to report it. However I have checked the ITV channels on my SkyQ box and I have no problem they are very good quality pictures no pixaling. This being case and there was a general problem as you describe there would be many more complaints from other subscribers, which at the moment there is not. Therefore the problem must be to do with you set up, and somthing has changed. either  you dish may be adjusting or the LNB on the dish has developed a fault or the tuner in you box has developed a fault, some fault can affect some frequency and not others. The reason all your itv channels have the same problem is becouse they are all on the same satellite transponder frequency and there the fault on your system is making these channels receving them as poor signal quality giving the pixaling. Such fault are not viable to naked eye but either in dish or Sky box  Therefore you need to contact Sky and get a engineer to sort out the problem. You say you have seen  other post with a problem Simlar to your in the in the past, however at the moment you  appear to be the only one reporting the problem as I can assure you if it was a far more widespread problem affecting many other Sky subscribers  this discussion page  would be filled with others reporting the same and there is not. So unfortunately the problem appears to lie with your set up and engineers visit will probably cure you problem

Thanks for that. I've reported it now & got a sky engineer coming out next week. It's now many more channels than itv that are pixelating so there appears to be a problem with the set up.

Definitely sounds like misalignment or potentially needs a replacement LNB. Glad you have an engineer on the way 👍🏻
