Error: MR102

I have error code MR102 on a mini box. It will not connect to the main Q box or internet. I have reset the wi-fi router, reset my main Q box, I have reactived connection to the sky Q box, I have reset the network connection and none of it seems to work. The box has not moved location and we haven't changed anything about the router. All other devices in the house are actively connected to the internet and work.

Any suggestions please??

Re: Error: MR102

You could try this. "try a Network Reset on the mini. Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network. Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box."

Re: Error: MR102

I've tried that - when I select reset it tells me it 'cannot connect to your broadband router' (which is sky) when I then select confirm reset after it tries to reset it then tells me 'we cannot obtain IP address'

It tells me to reset the router which I have done and still nothing changes

Re: Error: MR102

I am continually getting error I have reset my router I have reset my skybox. I have reset my mini box all repeatedly. There is nothing that works. My main box is fine and connected to the Internet. My mini box keeps coming up with this error claiming it is having problems joining the network. It doesn't matter what I do. It continually says the same thing

Hi @Dave99091 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

Re: Error: MR102

Same issue here.

Rebooted everything - boxes, router, national grid!

I've never known a system such as Sky that frequently has issues.

Re: Error: MR102

According to the sky engineer it has something to do with my Vodafone router having the MTU setting too high.

Re: Error: MR102

It took me an 1 1/2 hoyrs or so to sort it , I rebooted the router again , reactived all mini boxes 1 by 1 then reset them 1 by 1 after about 4 attempts 1 box connected so I just carried on until all connected , it really shouldnt be so difficult I always think im tech savvy but Sky is just the limit , its spurred us on to futur e proof the house & tech , not a good idea to have all with 1 supplier weve had nothing all week .

Re: Error: MR102

I don't know, I tried looking in the router settings and can't find a value for it.
