Equipment Returns

I have received an e-mail today saying that my equipment return is late and I will be charged £50 if it is not sent.

Now, i sent 'all' the equipment back in the returns box the day it arrived which was over a month ago.  I didnt keep the proof of postage after a couple of weeks as I thought this was more than long enough.

The e-mail says it is the 'mini box' which is outstanding, which means they must have received my return in general as the main box, mini box was all together.

Any advice gratefully appreciated

It's unfortunate that you haven't kept your proof of posting as any cancellation of the non return fees will be at Skys discretion but to see if they can help I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Escalation Team may get in touch with you later.

Look out for an email and also a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. Once that speech bubble appears you only have 48 hours to join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply from Sky within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread regularly.

Re: Equipment Returns

Thank you.

I realise that keeping the postage proof was probably a good idea now.  But after two weeks I assumed that it would have been received.

Given that they are only chasing the mini box, means that they received the return as it had the Main Box in there plus everything else, so I am not sure the proof of return would have made any difference in this instance.

Appreciate you pushing this up for me.

The proof of posting shows the weight of the parcel. Your chat bubble should now be visible so good luck.
