Download failed. Enough now!!!
Sorry for starting a new thread with this. I seem to be getting multiple download failed remote network errors downloading on demand content. It's usually when the system is downloading the next episode, but happens at other times, seems to be no pattern. Investigating, they seem to get to around 98% but then fail. If I'm watching the content however it still plays.
I've tried reboots etc, still happening. Seems worse when starting download on mini Box.
Setup is....
1 2tb main box, wired direct to router. 2.4ghz off 5ghz on
1 mini Box connected via mesh network. 2.4ghz off.
Have Internet provided by plus net, with download 55mbps, 10mbps upload. Streaming fine on apps on q boxes and tvs.
NO network issues in house, speed tests on wireless next to minibox around 45 to 50mbps.
Enough is enough now, it's likely an issues sky's end, with what we pay this shouldn't be happening.
I will restart my network tomorrow and reboot both boxes, as its likely the first thing sky wil ask me to do. Not tried downloading same eps from main box that fail on mini, will try tomorrow.
Anyone any ideas before I throw one at sky customer services??
