Downgrade Hbo or paramount etc?
If you upgrade your plan to either of these without ads does it then let you downgrade in the mysky app if you wish to do so when you want or do you have to ring up sky please?

Hi @Jane55 it is usual for customers to call SKY and talk to an advisor to request any downgrade of subscriptions.
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

@Quoman7 This is something I've wondered tbh, I was under the impression that because marketplace changes were not part of the main subscription they you could change between tiers (.with notice) using the options on SkyQ menu or app. Would be good too know if you can downgrade HBO/paramount/Netflix without the need to call.

hi @Jane55
These are both taken care of by SKY Marketplace which you manage yourself.
Edit : This FAQ mentions how to upgrade for HBO but similar steps apply for a downgrade
BTW I am not sure if SKY advisers can downgrade these.

@nigea99 That's good to know, I've never changed anything via marketplace, so I like that fact that should I want to upgrade the HBO subscription, then it's relatively easy to downgrade it again. Assuming if I do, that when I select to manage it, it will give me the option to go back to Free with ads version.

hi @NickNewark
Yes
You can also do it on the SKY Q box
Home - MySky - Upgrades -Your Products (which can take a while to load & ask for PIN) - App Subscriptions
Then tab to the subscription -
on upgrade it might just have right tab to Change Subscription but you should also get an option to Cancel once you have upgraded
The option to change shows takes into a further screen with the options and a button to Manage subscription
you can just back out at any point to not change anything
BTW I did say going via the box can be SLOW

This is my Disney+ sub on Q via a desktop PC so the option is definitely there, not that I've tried it yet. Similar options on HBO (I'm on the free tier) and Paramount+ to which I'm not currently subscribed. Edit: I think I cancelled Paramount via their website from memory.
