Disney plus only plays for 15 minutes then just buffers

Disney plus is loading via the app on my Q box but only plays for about 15 minutes then buffers and then it's unwatchable. I have restarted my box and refreshed apps. Checked internet speed and that's ok. Any other ideas?

My only recommendation (after a power reset of the Q box and router + refresh apps), is to watch on any other device if possible.

 

Sadly, the Q hardware is struggling it seems to maintain a consistent experience on some apps for a cohort of customers (Disney+ and YouTube are the usual cuplprits), and the forums are full of posts where people have upgraded broadband, used WiFi or ethernet, had engineer visits and even changed boxes, but there isn't a consistent "fix".

 

You can raise it as a fault with Sky if you wish, but unless it is an outage that affects a number of customers at the same time, it is incredibly difficult to identify a root cause sadly.

It plays on my mini box in the other room, it's struggling on my main Q box 🤔

Another example of why it is so hard to diagnose the root cause.

 

Mini boxes have even less power under the hood than the main Q  box and get their internet access from it.
