Disney plus email/activation issues

My wife used to have paid for Disney plus, set up with her email account. When it became 'free', she then changed her subscription to take advantage of this.

In the mean time, her disney account was hacked, and has since been deleted/removed. I.e. she no longer has access to it.

I'm now trying to re set up this 'free' disney package, with my own account instead (which makes more sense, since I am the account holder).

However, I cannot seem to. It shows as 'Already yours' in my sky account page, but I cannot seem to get it to work.

Following the steps on the TV, I scan the QR code, enter the activation code, but then it wants me to subscribe and pay.

How can I resolve this? Following the help section on the sky website, it says I must get in contact, but the only option is by telephone, and i'm trying to reduce the stress in my life rather than increase it.

You don't have much choice because someone at Sky will have to remove the link behind the scenes to the previous email address. Then you will be able to activate it.

You could of course also reach out to Disney+ themselves, I have found their CS to be very helpful and easy to get through to.
