Disney+ on Sky Q

Have watched Disney+ on Sky Q via my Disney+ subscription, tried to access Disney+ via the apps pane on my Sky Q this morning, it loads up the logo and then has the 'Your privacy settings' page - click accept all, a quick spin then nothing happens, repeat its exactly the same - cant get past this window.  Clicking Reject all does the same, as does customize choices.

 

Anyone else with this issue?  Is it related to the change with Disney+ falling under the Sky subscription (as it is I have all the Sky subscriptions as well so should be covered by that)

Ok think Ive sorted it

 

Logged into my Disney+ account online, went to manage devices and logged out of my Sky Q set top box there. 

 

Subsequently went back to my Sky Q box, accessed Disney+ through the apps and then logged into my Disney+ account there.  Sorted (well at the moment)

Hi @IB300 Have you tried a power reboot of the box?

Yep, done all the good stuff, reboot, software update still get stuck on the Permissions screen

 

Disney+ works ok on my laptop so the problems definitely seems to be at Sky Q's end - other apps on Sky Q, Netflix, Discovery work fine

Hi @IB300 

Reset your remote to infrared.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.   This will set to rrmote to infrared and it will control any Q box but needs direct line of sight.

This should allow you to clear your issue.

Then when it is working and the Q box is with green led you can re pair the remote 
Make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
