Disney+ flashing black screen

Recently recieved a new Sky Q 2TB box. Having an issue with the Disney plus app in that when watching any show, (UHD or HD), I get these frequent black flashes where the screen drops out. All audio continues fine, just the picture. I have sky ultrafast with 450mbps reliably and the Sky Q box is within close range. I have Zero issues with Netflix or Amazon prime streaming 4k content either through the sky box or directly from the TV apps so I'm sure it's not a internet speed/connectivity issue. Also tried changing the Disney plus in app settings reducing the picture quality preset to medium. I've also tried a reset of the box and I've swapped out the hdmi lead, still no difference. Just trying to refresh the apps now from the engineering menu. Anyone had similar issues and if so did you manage to resolve it?

Sorry I can;t give any specific advice as to why the Disney + app is behaving  like that . 

Does your TV have the Diisney + app ?

Although I know some people may find it les convienient, personally, I recommend people use their TV apps especially for UHD as the TV apps are usually optimised for the TV and with UHD in particular usually offer Dolby Vision which is generally considered the better HDR format which you can't get via the SKY Q apps.

(BTW I also use my Firestick 4K for a couple of apps that my TV doesn't have)
