Disney + and HBO Max set up
OK, I've got yhe emails saying that these apps are now part of my subscription.
But I can't set them up using the TV and its remotes as, eventually, I get to a screen where I have to input something, and the TV doesn't recognise that I am using the remote eg to enter my date of birth in HBO Max. I type "03" till I am blue in the face and the screen does not accept my typing.
Can anyone help?
I would prefer to set up these apps on my laptop in my Sky account if at all possible.

If you use the arrows keys and move to one of the input boxes you can then use the middle select button, a pop up at the bottom should allow you to use the remote to then select them. Personally I'd use online or the MySky App as using a remote for inputting stuff is a right pita.

Hi @Dave0564 Should be okay on a laptop, I set up both on an Android tablet. What happens if you go to My Sky on your laptop, find Your Products and see if activate each is available.

I'll try some of that. I'll post back here about what works. Thanks

Re: Disney + and HBO Max set up
I can't find anywhere in My Sky which allows me to set up new apps. All the help directs me to the TV.
I'm struggling with this as using the TV method isn't working for me.
When I look at "My Products", I've got Sky Signature and Disney + and HBO Max are marked "Already yours". All I want to do is set them up so that I can watch them.

Re: Disney + and HBO Max set up
Now sorted.
For some reason, I didn't have to put my dob into HBO Max. Hopefully I've still got the full package.
And the Disney+ set-up now bypasses the QR Code which was causing me the difficulty before.
Thanks to all who replied to this thread.

Cool. By the way, the date of birth HBO is cheekily asking for is only used to block 15-rated and 18-rated content in individual profiles inside their app.
Of course, it doesn't really need your actual DOB; to me that piece of information is extremely precious and can be abused (eg identity fraud) and I certainly don't ever hand it over to any company who pretends they need it in the same exact way I don't freely hand out my national insurance number. Any date before [today in 2008] will suffice.
I do not have a sig other than this message. SkyQ.
