Discovery+ asks for upgrade (no solution in 2 years!!)

Just asking for yet another time to see if this goes any further.

 

Some time ago (atleast 2 years ago) the free discovery+ subscription began to ask for an upgrade in order to watch anything, this happens if i go through the D+ app on my phone, on the web and via the SkyQ boxes.

 

Last time I called to renew/change our contract it was supposedly being dealt with and heard nothing since, ive seen several people having the same issue on here and no sign of a solution??

 

Ive been through the usual checks in sky store, activating and linking the account to the box but nothing solves this problem.

 

We didnt get chance to watch any of the olympics this summer because of this problem etc...

 

Anyone had any luck with this issue??
