What is the difference between Ultimate, Essential and Signature packages ?

And why do I not receive Netflix for free on my Q box with Signature ?

Essential is no longer offered on Q.  (It's basically free-to-air channels only to retain the hardware and recording facilities 'cheaply')

Signature is the current base TV package.  Ultimate adds NetFlix.

Signature, in itself, does not include NetFlix.  However, Sky often offered a bundled deal.

note : SKY Q Essentials (as mentioned by @PandJ2020  we think is no longer available for new subscribers) is just the FTA channels via Satellite with the ability to record  & download & should not be confused with Essential TV currently available as the 'entry' package on SKY Glass & SKY Stream which is roughly the same channels as the FTA Satellite ones but also includes SKY Atlantic & Netflix

Hi @Wibbly-Woo   No, not unless things have changed on Sky Q. Ultimate = Netflix, added to Sky Signature. It is different on other platforms.

On SKY Glass & Stream - almost - as some channels available via Signature on Satellite are not available on Stream & is a single subscription 

As @MightyQuinn  indicates for SKY Q customers Ultimate is just the Netflix add on (often bundled with Signature) but appears separately on bills.

and YES Sky naming of similar but slightly different packages on the different platforms can be quite confusing both to customers but especially AI Bots & Search Engines

Historically, Signature was 'Entertainment' plus 'Box Sets', and 'Ultimate TV' was 'Signature' plus Netflix.

Essential TV on Glass/Stream is absolutely not the same as Television Essentials on Q and Sky+ HD
