Delayed engineer
Hi Please kindly note I am new to SKY and would like to know how long it take for them to bring an engineer to install everything, the box arrived and a date is yet to be communicated. I have just moved into the house any Pre-checks and queries I can make will be very helpful.

If this is your first experience with Sky Q it wasn't a Sky Q box that arrived. For brand new installations the engineer brings the Sky Q box with them together with cables, remotes, any mini boxes that were ordered and a satellite dish if one isn't already in place.
The installation date will be dependent on engineer availability in your area. My son ordered Sky Q on 23/11/24 and it was installed on 23/12/24 to give you a rough guide.
