DPD failure to deliver
I find this level of service from SKY quite unbelievable!
Wednesday we ordered a replacement Q box. Our exisiting box had a hard disk failure. We ordered the item online using the website.
The delivery arrived on Thursday via DPD, however the driver refused to leave the item becuase we did not have the old box to give to him. For context, we are professional people who work Monday to Friday and rely on family or friends to stand in for us on such occasions.
We were not advised that we needed to have the damaged q box for exchange!! Clearly our family friend was not going to start pulling out cables and removing equipment. The driver went away promising a return the next day.
The next day, the DPD driver arrives at our front door. Proceeds to stay for around 20 seconds. I have a RING doorbell. By the time our friend gets to the door. Th edriver is away and off in his van.
I am disappointed enough with the inflexibility and lack of facility to communicate with DPD. The excess of 50 plus minutes waiting in a queue to speak to SKY this evening, that I am for the first time in 28 years going to pull the plug and cancel my subscription, I will use other methods/providers to access channels.
The barriers that prevent you from getting hold of anyone to speak to is quite frankly ridiculous.

Re: DPD failure to deliver
The actions of the courier on the first visit was correct. He can't leave the new box without taking the faulty one. It would be more than his jobs worth. Twenty seconds waiting on a doorstep sounds a reasonable time to be fair when you count it out.
If you arrange a further box swap remember to take your viewing card out of the faulty box.
