Controlling hidden Sky Q box

Hi all,

Wondered if anyone has found a solution to the below?

We have a sky Q box that lives in the living room and it sticks out like a sore thumb so want to hide it in the playroom behind the living room through a brick wall. 

The magic eye doesn't work with Sky Q so what can I use to send a signal from the living room to the Sky box in the play room?

Your existing Bluetooth remote should work if correctly paired to your Q box

Assuming it is a Bluetooth remote (with Microphone button) it will

As @oldfella  says yes when the remote is paired via bluetooth.

As a test I have used my  remote in my back garden with my box located in an alcove in my front  lounge near the front window, so through 2 walls and rooms.

That seems to wor. Tried controlling sky from playroom and channels changed.
