the Continue watching panel doesn;t contain any recordings - just links.
Try looking in the following :
Home - Recordings - Manage - Deleted
If you find an entry in there, select it & tab right & select Delete Forever
Hopefully that will clear the entry for that.
BTW We often the Continue watching quite unreliable and can point to the enext episode when you haven't fully watched a previous one or still list ones you have watched etc..
Thus many of us avoid that section
