Connection to my SkyQ box

I recently brought a new Sony Bravia Smart 4k TV and having constant problems staying connected to my SkyQ box. Could this be because I  need to upgrade my Hdmi cables which would be more compatible with a Smart 4K TV and my Sky Q box?

What cable are you using now?  The standard Sky cable (with Pink end) should be fine.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
