Connecting multiple Sky Q Mini Boxes
Hello.
im trying to connect 4 (maximum amount to one sky Q box) sky Q Mini boxes to my main box. My WiFi is with Virgin but I can only connect two boxes. I have WiFi extenders and a 1GB plan with Virgin but still can not connect all 4 boxes. This has been going on for days. Sometimes no boxes will connect and another time, 2 will connect.
do I need an engineer out?

Re: Connecting multiple Sky Q Mini Boxes
Only two Mini boxes can be in use simultaneously (despite Sky permitting the possession of four at a subscription address) : that's a hard limit built into the Q platform since launch a decade ago.

Re: Connecting multiple Sky Q Mini Boxes
@Starskyuk Also your Virgin WiFi is irrelevant as the mini boxes connect directly to the main Sky Q box via its own internally generated WiFi network.
