Connect iPhone to SkyQ box

Please can someone explain how I connect my iPhone to my SkyQ box as can't find any info on it on sky website? I have multi screen as also have a mini box. Thanks

You connect it using Airplay

You can only use it to stream audio, to a Sky Q box, not video.

Many thanks for your your response. I'm not looking to play music just watch recorded programmes so how do I connect to my box to be able to do this? Thanks

You can only stream audio from an iPhone to a Sky Q box using AirPlay.

To watch anything on the Sky Q box on your phone, you need to download and use the Sky Go app from the App Store. That will do what you want.

Thanks for that but unfortunately that's the problem I have the app but it's not reading my skyq box and website doesn't say how to do that?

Just one thing - are you using the Sky Go app as he says and not the old Sky Q app ?

Thanks for your reply. Think I've sorted it. Realised that we only have the use of two devices and was trying to add my iPhone when already have my iPad and wife's iPhone connected. Regards

If you have sky multi room you should be able to add 6 mobile/tablet/laptop devices.

@Nicola212   In which case you will need to elaborate on your question.  Do you have multiroom subscription?  If so you shouldn't have issues.
