If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.

After cancelling return packaging will be sent out for any loaned equipment Sky are expecting back. It’s important that you obtain proof of posting and keep it safe and indefinitely.

Your second post (moved here) is confusing. Have you only ordered Sky Q, or as this mornings post suggested it has been fitted and you are in the cooling off period?
