Hi
i am looking to set up sky in my husbands man cave. We have sky broadband and sky q and 3 mini boxes in the house all connected via WiFi. We don't have WiFi in man cave it's too far away. The router is at the front of the house and man cave at the back. We have a mini box at the rear of house so was wondering if run a very long Ethernet cable from the mini box can I connect another mini box at the other end? Also if this works will the mini box in man cave allow us to connect to WiFi,?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHow far is the outdoor office from the house? I would go for a wifi mesh if it's under 20-30m, with nodes as close together as you can get them and use ethernet connections from those to both minis (and one on the Q while you're at it)
Don't think you can run direct ethernet between 2 minis. They can't act as a bridge between the two physical networks afaik.
