Can the severe wind be affecting my broadband servuce

I cannot get any sky tv

Yes, extreme wind both moves satellite dishes (potentially disrupting live reception) and wobbles telephone cable. Falling trees do rather more, either by severing circuits or knocking out power to upstream devices.

Yes and it's classed as a storm I believe so a lot of places could get power cuts too.

Are you on Sky Q because if you are, live TV has nothing to do with your broadband. Dish most likely affected by wind.
