Every time I go to put my TV on through Sky it keeps losing connection from when I turn my TV off and when I turn it on. I have to unplug my Sky box and reboot it every time I turn the TV on.

Find out moreit's possibly defaulting to the wrong hdmi input when you turn the TV on directly, and when you reboot the sky box, it's sending a wakeup signal on the cable and the TV then switches to that source. What happens if you just put the Sky box into standby and back on again (or manually change source on the TV remote)?

That's exactly what's mines just started doing. It always came up as source sky q and then started coming up as dvd player and now it doesn't come up as a source at all unless I unplug my sky q box and plug back in. I don't know why this has started doing this but very annoying at having to unplug for it to recognise the source input.

It's not showing in the source to select it unless I unplug the sky Q box every time I turn the TV on and plug back in then it becomes visible and automatically goes on to SKy Q.

That's exactly what's happening.. they changed the settings but no improvement.. I think the box is the issue.

That text label that appears for the source is a part of the HDMI-CEC protocol which is also what allows the box to turn on the TV so it sounds like either the box has crashed or something is making that protocol fail. If the box is still working, I'd expect you to be able to choose the right input and see a picture.
