Hi @BB2025

Is this Sky Q boxes or Sky+HD.

If Sky Q replacement boxes should be available from Sky although they are likely to be refurbished ones.

If you have Sky Q you need to persevere with Sky contact.

Simply not true: Q is still a live product and Sky has literally millions of Q boxes

They won't, however, supply a Sky+ HD box, and Viewing Cards can no longer be transferred to second-hand hardware.

Re: Blown Sky Box

It is not a Sky Q box so I know the old ones are not available but why didn't they give me the steps to replace ??

Hi @BB2025   I would try again, but this time ask to be changed to Sky Q.

Note that it will require an engineer visit to change the LNB on your dish (assuming you have your own dish)

If it's an old Sky Digibox, or a Sky+ (SD) or a Sky+HD box*, they don't make them anymore.
However, if it's a Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream, these are all still being make.

Long story short, to officially get your Sky back, you'll need to upgrade to Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream. You may be able to buy a used Sky+HD box online, and get Sky to connect it, but I don't know if they will, or if it will work.

I know, I read it, I'm writing it for other users who may come across this and have a similar issue. They may benefit from my comment.
