Re: Best setup for my equipment to optimise sound quality.

I have another question..... When turning on the TV, it used to also turn on the AV receiver. And oposit when turning off.  Now it does not as my Samsung TV keeps reverting to the TV speaker.

Pressing the sky button on the remote does nothing .

Is there a way to stop it reverting to TV speaker.?  So I can turn on the TV and av receiver together?

Sky q hdmi into AV receiver  hdmi port. AV receiver earc hdmi plugged into TV e-arc hdmi

Re: Best setup for my equipment to optimise sound quality.

So when I got my Sky Q box, the engineer set this up for me and it has been working fine. I turn my TV on today and there is now no sound. Hisense TV and Samsung soundbar. I've made sure that all the setting are correct and it's not on mute or low volume.

Can anyone help?

hi @AlexMac42

First thing I would suggest is to try a power down restart  of your TV, Soundbar & SKY Q box
