Hdr was working some time ago on my Phillips tv but then reverted to 8 bit and now when trying to change back up to 10 bit via settings - setup - audio and visual - picture resolution ..... and ''find it for me'' or manually trying to click it back to 10 bit the Sky Q box comes up with error code UH021 but the built in TV apps still play HDR .... and the Sky Q box just does not recognise the Tv and its support for HDR @4k60 4;4;4 , 4k60 10-bit HDR when either HDMI ports are set to optimal in the ' General settings , Input Sources , Ultra HD , Off , Standard or Optimal and the picture settings are set to Ultra HD.
if im playing content from the built in apps on the Tv I am able to change the the general picture settings , standard , vivid , personal etc etc in HDR ....
Ive contacted Philllips support and i have updated the Tv software via a file sent to me directly from them and comfirmed the flash worked ... replaced all HDMI cables for high speed SHDMI 2.0 used and connected directly from the HDMI port on the Q box to both HDMI ports 2 and 3 and ensured UHD is set to optimal which then supports HDR formats. The tv recognises the Sky Q box as it automatically names the HDMI port the q box is connected to as ' Sky Q ' .... Ive done multiple ' digital hand shakes ' and hard reset and ' re installed ' the Tv.
The region , clock , language and software updates options have all been tried and tested and ive tried ' all possible ' profiles on the Tv ...
Ive had a new Sky Q box hardware vers. 32B12D , Software vers. Q270.000.10.09L and done a forced sofware update. I am totally stuffed and if anyone can help I would be really greatful.
Please excuse my terrible grammer and spelling , I appreciate your valued time and support .... Any ideas anyone ??
Tv model 65PUS6753/12 , Software vers. upgrade_loader_TPM186E_018.005.058.001.pkg
