Areil

I currently have sky q and router .my areil is a big thick cable running through the house do I still need this or do I need a wireless router in place of it thanks I have sky and broadband

hi @gypsy+sister 

 

SKY Q does need to be attached to the Satellite dish via 2 cables (usually linked as a pair making it like a large single cable)

 

You would need to switch to a different product called SKY Stream that uses the internet only to no longer need these cables (note this requires sufficient broadband speed)

Hi @gypsy+sister   Sky Q does not use an aerial, so your post is a little confusing. Do you mean the satellite dish cables, Ethernet cable (direct to the router) or something else?
