App failure

Most days, APPS will not connect using SKY Q box. Some APPS will show the Logo but won't open. I check Network status, all OK, I AM CONNECTED. I check Apps and RESET them, all OK. Occasionally there is a message from SKY, "there are problems with the APPS and we are working to restore service".  When this problem occurs, I access APPS on my iPad without any issues.

THIS IS A REGULAR PROBLEM, USING APPS WITH SKY Q BOX  FAILS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY, EVERY DAY.

ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS INCONVENIENCE??

I think your box (possibly hard drive) is failing. Recordings should not spontaneously pause. I would go through the box troubleshooter on the sky website and get a replacement booked

Re: App failure

Yes, seems the APPS all fail at the same time. We use BBC PLAYER a lot for catch up but i then try other APPS, Netflix, HBO, Disney and they failnto open.

Connection to Network is OK, i refresh APPS but they will still not open.

i think problem is with SKY but how can I/do I report it as an ongoing intermittent but annoying problem?? Occasionally, i get a screen message from SKY apoligising for loss of service. Seems to be daily problem using SKY APPS, the APPS all work on iPad.

Re: App failure

Recordings seem OK, sometimes they just stop playing as if they PAUSE themselves, so we manually PAUSE then PLAY and it resumes to finish
