Abandoning programmes

Both semi finals of the Indian Premier League T20 series this year were abandoned during the match with no warning, advice on switching the programme to another sports channel, no on screen message to say that the programme was ending!!!! It just disappeared and another completely different programme started to be shown. As stated, this happened TWICE this week and although I have phoned Sky on several occasions, the only explanation I was given was 'it is the Broadcaster/Scheduling people that do this'. This is completely unacceptable as I pay good money to watch Sky Sports and I expect to see the end of a scheduled programme. I am a supposedly a VIP and have been with Sky for about 24 years so you can imagine how much money I have paid over those years. I definitely do not expect half a programme without getting annoyed and angry. I would like an explanation please.

Re: Abandoning programmes

Were you watching on Sky Sports Main Event, rather than Sky Sports Cricket? Main Event sometimes only shows part of an event if full coverage is available on another Sky Sports channel.

I can see for example that the IPL was on Main Event from 14:50-17:25 yesterday but full coverage was on Sky Sports Cricket.

Re: Abandoning programmes

I was watching both matches on Sky Sports Cricket so should have had both matches fully shown.
