2nd mini box

I have a sky mini box already and want to add a second box in another bedroom .

By adding a second  box does that mean I will have to enter into a brand new sky contract for 18 months or does it mean I just have a charge for the 2 nd box and it is linked to my existing contract which finishes in July 2024

Thanks everyone..

Hi @Kerrybundy You will just be billed an admin fee (£50) for the second Mini box, it should not effect your current subscription.

@Kerrybundy

You may already know but we should also mention that the older 1TB non UHD box is only capable of supporting 1 active mini for SKY Content (although possibly more if only being used for streaming apps such as Netflix or Disney+)

To check:

Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it is 32Cxxx then you have an older 1TB non-UHD Box which is only capable of supporting 1 active mini
If it is 32Bxxx then it is either a 2TB or 1TB UHD box & capable of supporting 2 active minis
