@CJ+237 if they are no longer working if you contact Sky protect they will send out a new bell/chime 

you can contact them by going into the app click on settings then scroll down and you should see a big blue support button click on this then get in touch

The doorbell only displays a yellow or blue light.

No other colours than that.

Perhaps you are seeing the shade of blue more close to purple in your view,

 

Below are what the lights on the doorbell show:

 

What do the different lights mean?

Solid yellow. Powered on, not connected to the Chime.

Flashing yellow and blue. Video Doorbell is pairing with the Chime.

Solid blue. Connected to the Chime.

Flashing yellow. Restart needed. Press and hold ‘reset’ button for ten seconds to do this.

 

When charging

Flashing yellow or blue. Video Doorbell is charging.

Solid blue. Video Doorbell is fully charged.
