solar panels on my roof

I have a shade greener solar panels on my roof, which they lease the airspace from me for the next 25 years . Someone has now said, my insurance may not cover me against these panels, should they cause damage to my home, has anyone else had experience of this , i need my home to fully covered . Thanks  Sue

No-one reading this forum can advise whether there would be a specific issue with Sky Protect in this regard.

Standard insurance industry advice seems to be that buildings insurance will typically cover PV, but this advice does not go into the ownership issue.

My general understanding it there is definitely a potential mortgage complication with roof-lease schemes.
