Is there a way to turn off the opening sound when opening the Sky Protect app?

Have you looked in settings section of the app to see if this option is available?

Afraid there is no way to turn that app startup sound off.

Might be worth sending an email to the Sky Protect contact address that is in the help of the app, to ask for a future app update to do it.
