wifi calling down?

I've had this same issue for ages now. I raised it with Sky, the tech support team looked at it then escalated it to an extrnal team in the company that provide the masts! The fault has been with them for weeks now. Every three days or so I get a message saying they are still investigating but no resolution date! I've had enough now, I need to be able to take and make calls!!! Not too much to ask really!! I requested a PAC code today and am going to EE!

Posting on here has worked several times to solve the issue so here I go again. Sky Wi-Fi calls using sky mobile with sky broadband are not working AGAIN! Sky need to resolve this

Totally, something is clearly being actioned for it to suddenly start working again each time I complain....it would be good to know what it is and for sky to have the courtesy to reach out to effected customers to explain themselves for this recurring glitch.

on that note, it's been working all morning, I then received an incoming call and now I can't make or receive Wi-Fi calls AGAIN (using my sky broadband and mobile).  Please do whatever you do to fix this issue asap again sky.

You might try installing 1.1.1.1 on your phone. It's an app for Android and iOS from CloudFlare, one of the larger companies providing infrastructure for the internet. Their DNS is free to use and if you install this app your phone will use the CloudFlare DNS server instead of Sky's.

I have found the wifi calling to be much more reliable since using it ... which should not be the case as you would think keeping everything within Sky should be the most reliable option.

Sky really need to get their "poo" together. 😉

Yes, I use it on my iPhone. iOS sees it as a VPN which is fine...it means your activity is not logged or tracked.

I had to give up in the end, I had to be able to make phone calls from home! I have now switched to EE and Wi-Fi calling works perfectly every single time and all calls are crystal clear … wish I'd done it much sooner!
