topic: Linking mobile account to sky id says invalid postcode

I just bought a new Sky mobile plan and need to link my Sky Id to my mobile account.

 

However to Sky webpage says that I entered an invalid postcode format *** *** even though this is indeed a valid postcode format.

 

How can I proceed? thanks

Havr you tried entering your postcode using uppercase lettering and with no gap  ?

Yes I have tried both options, just using here some random letters to illustrate what I have tried:

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

So despite the very kind help from the Sky team since last Saturday, it didn't work yet and still I am not able to link my Sky ID to the new mobile account I purchased. 

I am still facing the postcode format issue that seems to touch many other customers. I've tried many different ways as instructed and still it yielded into the same result.

 

I'd like to proceed with a cancellation of the mobile plan I subscribed to on last Saturday, as this has been a lot of issue related to Sky since I subscribed meaning due to a recurring Sky issue; I am not able to use a service that has been paid for and thus Sky is not in position to honor its contract so far.

To cancel you will need to call Sky as you can not do this via here and the messaging team can not action this for you either.

There is no best number so when calling say nothing when asked any questions by the bot and remain on the line.
