roaming data, spend cap

My data won't work while I'm abroad in Italy at the minute, I did some research I ended up upgrading my mobile contract to unlimited data, still didn't work.

I have my roaming data on and still didn't work, I then figured out what spend cap was and I turned it on and put the budget at £24 even though I'm only here for a week.

It still won't work, I have service and I've done everything I can. Is there something I'm doing wrong or how can I get this to work?

You could try turning off automatic network selection in the settings then get your phone to search for other available networks to see if it will then connect and allow you to make calls. Also make sure the spend cap hasn't been reached if you have one set.

Also make sure this setting is set to abroad:

Apple:

Settings > Mobile Data > SIM Applications > Make sure this is set to abroad.

Android:

Sky Menu App or SIM toolkit > Roaming > Make sure this is set to abroad.
