not sure whats wrong

I got a new IPhone 17e, i transferred my sim card from my old IPhone 13 to this new phone, everything worked thankfully, however i then went out to do a bit of shopping to find out my mobile data wasnt working, it was on and i checked everything, i couldn't message or call anyone. the next day i went out again, it still didnt work, so when i arrived home i was looking into whats wrong, however i didnt find anything useful, i converted my sim card into an esim thinking it would work it still isnt, i searched again, ive tried everything but nothings working. i need help quickly

When you are out and about do you have mobile data turned on ?

yes i do but it still doesn't work

Is it only working when you are at home or does it no work here either ?

i dont think it works at home as whenever i turn wifi off with data still on, nothing works again
