mms not supported on this network

Left o2 for my mobile phone in May to Sky but after three visits to Sky shop in Middlesbrough, they did try to help with settings etc, I still cannot send a picture / photo  with a short text message. Using Whats App is a definite no no. I am with Sky for my broadband and landline no issues but this mms issue is now 4 / 5 months is unacceptable.

MMS are chargeable.

1. Ensure your account spending cap allows for it.

2. Ensure your device has the MMS APN settings.

MMS APN Settings:
Name: Sky Mobile MMS
APN: mms.mobile.sky
Username: None
Password: None
Proxy/MMS Proxy: 185.110.178.97

Port/MMS Port: 9028
MCC: 234
MNC: 57

MMS APN Type: mms

Re: mms not supported on this network

I have tried to get into my mobile account settings to check my spend is not set at zero as there is a 95 p charge over and above the monthly payment.  On the web page (logged into Sky Broadband) on the page that  displays TV - Broadband & Talk - Mobile when I click onto mobile I just get the blue revolving circle - so no access to my mobile account settings.

The MMS and APN settings were checked about 3 weeks ago at the SKY shop in the local shopping mall.  I do note that there have been other posts of customers referring to not being able to access their mobile "account".

When the new SIM was fitted at the shop,  having moved my account from o2, there was no seperate password asked for the mobile / SIM, I assumed the email and password I had for the broadband covered both.

I do not know if another trip to the shop is worthwhile to see if they can access and check / alter the minimum spend or possobly a call to 150 can get it done ?  Thank you for any and all replies.

han you for any help

Re: mms not supported on this network

Thanks PandJ2020 for the spend cap link, I have used it and searched the pages extensively, cannot find any tab referring to spend cap. Most of what is displayed is new contracts, new phones etc.

Customers should not have to chew on like this.
