iPhone 16 received. Activation Code & PAC No done. No network connect

Received iPhone 16 and have complied with activation code and PAC number. Mobile is connected to my WiFi but no network service on mobile. Cannot make or receive phone calls and Sky app says SIM in progress

Old SIM and old phone not working and now new SIM in new phone has no network so no calls in or out

Is your Sky sim showing as activated and if it is have you been told that your number has now transferd to it from your previous network ?

Have you received confirmation that the number transfer is complete? If not then you should be able to call using the default number. If you have received confirmation then reset the network settings:
Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Mine is exactly the same, activated sim last night and it just says "We are activating your sim this might take a while", got an email from SKY saying apologies for this we are working on it..... it's now been 12 hours and still no network coverage, never had this before on SKY and I have 4 mobiles with them.

Have you tried my suggestion to reset the network settings?
You can also go into your account & resend the settings to the phone.

I had the same problem Inserted sim texted PAC nothing happened Tried again and again to no avail. I tried on the app a was messaged " There is a problem please try again later "

I did and did again and again. Wed chat was a joke This was over Thursday and Friday. Today I phoned 150 and went through the options until it came to I wish to cancel my contract ( Don't press anything until you get to this option it sends you round in circles ) Bingo a human !. After 20 minutes deciding I didn't  live at 27 Station Road Leigh on Sea and had never visited the town I was passed onto the retention team. All the stuff again and arguing whether I was too stupid to understand the details on the sim package almost in passing the operator mentioned something  about 4 days I had to stop her and get her to repeat the 4 days bit. So it takes 4 working days for the number change. I asked why no-one had told me this and she insisted they had sent me a text ( no text ) she then went on to explain what working days are. Anyway PAC takes WORKING 4 days to transfer. If no luck dial 150 and threaten to terminate your contract. Funny how we were talking on Saturday anon working day. 😉

First if that's your genuine address I'd delete it immediately.

Second: glad to hear the PAC eventually worked even if it meant calling support.

Hi I just wish it had said on the packet it takes 4 days on in the app. It would have saved hours of frustration 🫤  . I chose Sky mobile as I have broadband TV etc and am just renewing my contract for those. As for the address, I have no idea how they came up with that.  Also both operators kept asking for my password, it took me a while to realise they meant memorable name, which of course is supercalifragilicexpialidosis .
