iMessage not working after switching from Three

Hi

i switched yesterday from Three and opted to keep my number. This morning outgoing calls are showing up as my old number which is correct, but within the settings of my iPhone it is showing the temporary number as "my number", and now iMessage won't work as it's trying to use the temporary number. I've tried to manually change the number but it won't let me?

Have you tried changing the temporary number to the correct one then saved the change before rebooting your iPhone ?
