eSIM code not received

I ordered a new eSIM for my son yesterday, I have numerous emails from Sky confirming my order and a QR code to activate the sim but have not received the email with the  code.

Have you checked that your email address on your Sky account is correct and if it is made sure that this email hasn't ended up in your junk/trash/bin folders ?

Yes, I have. I called customer service today, and while I’m receiving every email about the purchase and the new eSIM contract, I’m still not getting the one thing I actually need — the confirmation code.

 

After a lot of back and forth on the call (including several attempts to upsell me tablets and phones I didn’t ask for), a new eSIM and contract were supposedly ordered. Yet again, no confirmation code. I was told it would arrive within an hour — which honestly felt like a fob-off — and four hours later, there’s still nothing. Now I’m being told a physical SIM will be posted instead.

 

Overall, it’s been really disappointing service from Sky, and I’m now genuinely worried because it looks like I’ve had three separate credit checks done for just one eSIM that I still don’t even have 🤦🏼‍♀️
