I purchased an esim and have been using data on that, but Sky have charged me data fees for last month and this month whilst abroad. Any reason why this is? I thought purchasing an e-sim stops extra fees on your bills?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @020201 no it doesn't. An eSIM is just an alternative to a physical sim. It's supposed to be easier to switch between sims if required. There is no difference in charges and roaming charges, it's exactly the same as using a physical one.
