been getting a technical error when trying to swap mobile.

for over a week I am getting the technical error 'it's not you, it's us' when getting to valuation or checkout for mobile upgrade/swap

You'll have to call Sky to initiate the swap.

I have been experience the same issue. At this rate i am half tempted to go to EE. Been with sky since Sky mobile started. Nothing is getting better when it comes to the webpages.

I have never had to call before, I also do not want to be stuck in on the phone for ages. Why have sky changed the process?

They haven't.  But if you can't get it working on your account you have little choice other than to call.
